Today is July 2, so that means that it is only 4 weeks until the 2016 Bellwood Daze River Run. After much discussion, a lot of back-and-forth emails, some random inspiration, and artistic help from Midwest Impressions, we have a design!

There could still be some minor tweaking, but this will be pretty close to the final design. It will be screened on a Heather Navy 50/50 cotton/polyester blend t-shirt. (Basically a Navy Blue shirt with some other colors mixed in.)

And… the “running guy” makes his return to the t-shirt design, running by cattails* and tall grass on his way to the river. (*Cattails possible but not guaranteed.)

In 2009 we had a large contingent of runners from the Wahoo area. The group — “Team Terri” was composed of family and friends of Theresa Luetkenhaus, who had passed away that year from cancer. The proceeds from the race were donated to Eppley Cancer Center – Hope Fund for Cancer Research, part of the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
