The 2010 t-shirt had a nice patriotic feel, and a great slogan “Live Free – Run Free”.

Our race t-shirt logo in 2009 was a takeoff on the Obama “Hope” poster seen during the 2008 presidential campaign. While the race t-shirts were white, we also printed a few on gray t-shirts, as shown in the included picture.

In 2007 we began awarding trophies for the 2-mile and 6-mile races with a design based on the “running guy” image. (The trophies and medals shown are from the 2008 races.)

The trophies were designed and built by a family friend by bending and welding pieces of steel, and painted by hand. They were great-looking trophies, but were also a lot of work for our friend. We continue to use a variation of that design, but the trophies are now laser-cut from sheet metal and powder-coated.

This was the t-shirt logo for our second race. I’m not sure what we were going for with this design. I think that this was originally a piece of clip-art that we used on “Caution — Runners” signs the first year.
