It is now only three days until the 2016 Bellwood Daze River Run and there is still time to register for the race — online through Thursday evening or on race day starting at 7:00 am. Our race t-shirt this year is a 50/50 cotton/polyester blend, navy blue, and has a very nice design:

While last year was just a little bit wet, the rain cooled the air temperature, and overall it was a nice day to run. At least some of our volunteers came prepared for rain.

Even though it was raining, the Kids Run took off as normal. Even with the rain, this runner is still focused on finishing strong.

Last year’s Bellwood Daze River Run had a rainy start, but it was a light rain and we started roughly on time.

With the 2011 race we introduced a new icon in our designs. The stacked letters “bd/rr” — Bellwood Daze River Run — was used on both the t-shirt design and the new plasma-cut race medals. (See below.)
