You can use Google Maps to get to the 2016 Bellwood Daze River Run, or just make your way to Highway 64, midway between Highways 15 and 81. You will be greeted by the Bellwood skyline as seen above. Make a turn at the Ampride gas station along the highway and go one block north to St Peter Catholic Church. Parking is available near the church and on the side streets of Bellwood.

Another day closer to the 2016 Bellwood Daze River Run. Hopefully the heat that we will see this week will not be around on Saturday, July 30. But if it is, we will have plenty of ice-cold drinks to help cool you off.

Above is a picture from the start of the 2014 Kids Run. We had 50 entrants in the 2014 Kids Run, which is a quick half-mile run held on the paved streets of Bellwood. The race is open to all kids 11 and under, and you are welcome to run or walk along with your children.

We are getting closer to the 2016 Bellwood Daze River Run. The logo above is from the 2013 race, but you can see this year’s t-shirt logo on our website.

Race-day registrations are welcome starting at 7:00 am on Saturday, July 30 and we will have a good supply of t-shirts available. However, if you want to make sure that you get a t-shirt, mail-in your registration today, Thursday, July 21, or register online via the bellwood.run website through Sunday night, July 24. Even if you miss those cutoffs, you can still preregister online through next Thursday, July 28 and avoid filling out a form on race day.
